Kimberly Holmes-Iverson

is known as the ‘Hope Dealer,” bringing 20+ years of powerful public relations and award-winning journalistic experience as a television anchor, reporter and producer to audiences worldwide. 

 

As a college adjunct, Kimberly knows how to share unique wisdom and connect with audiences who are seeking ways to cultivate and keep joy in your life – no matter how much life throws at you.

 

She’s been featured in Allure Magazine, HuffPost, Investigation Discovery, and many other top-tier media outlets. Her website KimKeepsGoing.com and popular Instagram and Facebook accounts reach more than 20,000 people every week. 

Kimberly has been honored by the National Academy of Television Arts and Science, received an award from the Florida Associated Press and the Religion Newswriters Association for her reporting work, and an award & recognition from the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ). She was also featured in Southlake Style and as a Mother’s Day recipient of the 2021 “Moms are Joyful” award by internationally-acclaimed jewelry designer Zoë Chicco.

 

Kimberly is a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. She’s served on the Alumni Council of the Sanford School for Public Policy at Duke University. Kimberly graduated from Duke University and Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism.

Born to Mississippi's first Black CPA, Kimberly spent most of her childhood overseas in Saudi Arabia where her father worked for the oil company, Aramco.

 

When Kimberly is not helping clients find joy, peace and life or love after loss, she can be found baking, dancing, and laughing with her husband, Darian, their daughter and dog.

Kimberly Holmes-Iverson (she/her) is a Communications Strategist, Emmy® Award-Winning Journalist, Grief Advocate, Podcast Host and Professional Speaker available for keynote presentations, workshops, media interviews, and spokesperson opportunities. Her warm personality and ability to tackle difficult topics with grace, heart and compassion, delight and entertain audiences worldwide. She's also an adjunct instructor at North Carolina State University and currently helps clients in the higher education space by providing varied levels of support through her work at the R.W. Jones Agency.

Kimberly has delivered messages of hope and inspiration as the keynote speaker for Delaware State University, Florida Highway Patrol, Council of Negro Women, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Wesley College, Modern Widows Club, the New Year New You Conference, and for many more organizations and events. 

She's also served as the mistress of ceremony for countless events and the host of local, regional and national events such as the She Has A Deal Hotel Ownership Competition.
